Naked running band is a high performance 4-way power mesh band for hydration and accessories that fits comfortably around your waist. It is the lightest, most breathable, non chafing, bounce resistant and versatile product of its kind, with 4 individual pockets (opening with easy pull tabs) and elastic jacket loops in the back. To use it, simply put your feet through the continuous loop band and slide it up and over your hips.
Unlike other products on the market, it is not limited to one brand/model of flask and can carry multiple bottles of difference sizes (e.g. 6 oz. hard shells, 500ml collapsible, etc.), depending on your training/racing needs and preferences (note: flasks not supplied). Again uniquely, it can hold any model of smart phone, up to an iPhone 6, Blackberry Passport, and Samsung Note. Its pockets can securely hold many other accessories, including energy gels and bars, keys, sunglasses, headlamp, even a banana! Total capacity is a whopping 3 liters. Above all, nothing bounces or shifts while running - all while remaining comfortable.
Naked running band has proven performance for carrying hydration flasks, accessories and other stuff in ultra trail, marathon and triathlon training and racing. Responsibly made in the USA, it comes in a full range of sizes (I - VI), from 25" - 36".
The co-founders - two brothers - one an ultra trail runner and the other a triathlete, searched without success for a product that had capacity, flexibility, comfort and performance; they realized they had to do it themselves. As for the brand; the resultant product feels like you're wearing nothing at all.
"I love my Naked Running Band... Had 3 bottles and an IPhone 6+ and DID NOT FEEL ANY BOUNCE .. It was terrific. The trail run was up and down and very rocky.. No movement of the belt.. Congrats !!" VICTOR MILLS, triathlete
"I've been wearing my #nakedrunningband for the last 15 or so runs ranging from 4-5 miles to 20 miles. It's exactly what the website promises: comfortable, easy expandable and soft fabric that can be worn on the skin. No chafing and no bouncing. For my longer runs I normally run with a Nathan Vest, however, I'm now running with two water bottles and have 2 inflatable/deflatable water bottles in the band. I haven't lost a thing and it's all very easy accessible. The two loops in the back are ideal to hold my windbreaker jacket. I really like that it doesn't bounce or chafe, no matter what i put in it.
I was afraid to lose my keys when I put them in the smaller pockets on the side (since there is no zipper). However, after having tried it a couple of times now, I'm more than confident that they key is safe and secure.
I washed it a few times, not on the hand wash setting as the label says, but using the 'delicate' setting on the washer and washed it with my running gear. However, I noticed that the fabric showed some pilling, so I won't be putting it in the washer and just wash it by hand (as the label clearly describes).
My fellow running friends show a lot of interest in the product, since there is simply nothing out there that resembles it. My wife already put it on her birthday wish list.” ILJA KOOIJ, trail and road runner
"I just ran Naked….and I loved it!
I was introduced to the Naked Running Band about two months ago when a fellow trail runner, Lindsay, was wearing it. It looked comfortable and he was carrying all kind of stuff in it...a banana, large phone, keys, water bottle and a windbreaker jacket. Since I’m a gear junkie and done with my always-bouncing-and-riding-up-water bottle belt, I instantly knew that this was the product I was looking for.
Lindsay turned out to be the designer of the product and he explained that he designed and produced the Band out of necessity, looking for a light weight, chafe free, ultra flexible, no bounce and super expandable band to carry what he needed during his (ultra) runs. Since there was nothing like that on the market….he decided to design one himself.
I was lucky enough to be able to buy one from his first production batch and I’ve been wearing it on almost all my runs. It delivers on its promise and more. I’ve bought to two Salomon handhelds with Soft Flask bottles and a spare Soft Flask that I can put in the back of the belt. That gives me 1.5L /48oz of water, so more than enough for my runs and races.
It’s hard to believe that with so many runners a product like this did not exist. Thank you Lindsay for putting your passion for (ultra) running into such a great product so that we all can enjoy running even more." ANOTHER NAKED FAN
Running Naked is the only way go! This belt is AWESOME! No chafing! No bounce! No readjusting every few minutes! This is just what I was looking for. It holds everything I need for a long run-no more circling back for water and gel. I even got rid of the annoying iPhone armband! Thank-you NAKED! TIM SPURLING, Triathlete
Naked Running Band for the win! I've used Amphipod waist band and wasn't thrilled with how it cut into my waist/caused tummy issues while running, thankfully the Naked Running Band doesn't have that issue, as the weight of my ample 'stuff' is more evenly distributed. Like it isn't there. Yes, naked. In fact, I used to have a handheld water bottle as well, but last week prior to my tempo run it was nowhere to be found. So, I just used the band. Surprised again- when I have this on, I don't need the hand held. Well designed- thank you! SARAH SHOEMAKER, Trail Runner
Only took one thing on my run yesterday...well actually, I took two bottles of water, my phone, tissues and a gel...and still ran hands free!!! Thank you Naked Running Band! Erica Gratton, Triathlete
